My name is Peter, and on Wednesday, April 15th, my life was turned upside down in an instant.

While riding on my motorcycle, a driver, without looking, attempted to turn into her driveway and struck me. The impact sent me flying into a nearby pole. I was rushed to the hospital, where I learned I had sustained a spinal fracture.

The past few days have been a blur of pain, doctors, and overwhelming uncertainty. I’m grateful to be alive — but I now face a long and difficult road to recovery. The financial burden has quickly become overwhelming. On top of that, my motorcycle, which is not just my passion but also my main mode of transportation, was heavily damaged in the accident.
