Peter's Progress
Financial Support for Peter Coleman
Hi friends,
I want to reach out and let you know that I’m fundraising to support Peter with his hospital, medical and home support costs. As you probably already know, Peter has several lesions in his brain that his doctors are trying to stop from growing and are trying to identify the cause(s).
I have known Peter for half of my life. He is the one I confide in, constant cheerleader – I can always count on him. And that’s not just how he is with me, but for anyone that meets him – he has a loving heart, is a source of joy and gives his life for others.
Over much of his life, Peter has helped support poor and marginalized communities in Nicaragua through Peace and Hope Trust (Frontier Mission). Peter first began volunteering with Peace and Hope Trust, UK in the late 1990’s. After several trips, he returned to the United States to establish Peace and Hope Trust, US in 1999. In 2004, Peter relocated to Nicaragua in order to oversee the organization’s ongoing projects and programs. He continued his work with Peace and Hope Trust, while living in Managua, until 2018.
Since May 1, 2021, Peter has spent the majority of his days in the hospital undergoing MRI’S, CAT scans, spinal taps, large medical infusions, amongst other tests and exhausting activities. Besides losing 35 pounds, his symptoms include: needing a cane to walk, tingling and burning in his hands, blurry/double vision – is unable to read, difficulty swallowing, difficulty speaking, extreme hearing sensitivity, confusion and dizziness. The right side of his body is very weak and the fine motor skills in his hands are deteriorating.
On July 8th, Peter underwent a brain biopsy. The surgeon removed 4 rice size pieces of extremely abnormal tissue. We are awaiting the results of that biopsy to determine a diagnosis and a treatment plan.
Would you be able to contribute to my fundraiser? A contribution of any amount would truly help me reach our goal.

If you could also share my fundraiser link with your friends, it would mean so much. The more people that hear about my cause, the quicker I can reach my fundraising goal.
With love,
