Cancer Clinic Fund for Peter - Journey from 5-to-0

        We have been a bit undone - (understatement!) - by the outpouring of support over the past month, since Peter went public with his diagnosis. Many of you have reached out and asked how you can tangibly support us in this season, so we decided to create a GoFundMe page.
        For those who may not be aware, Peter was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer in August of 2020. Since that time, he has undergone surgery to remove the softball-sized tumor from his colon and has sought alternative, holistic treatment methods to target the 5 small remaining lesions in his abdominal cavity.         We believe wholeheartedly that Peter’s time here on earth is not yet done, and there is great destiny and purpose for life that lies ahead – (both for him as an individual, and also together in marriage with Lennie) - on this side of eternity!
        Through a close friend, we have learned of an alternative medical clinic in Spain that has a 90% success rate in treating cancer with Dr. Raymond Hilu. https://thehiluinstitute.com/ We have talked to several people who have chosen this same healing path and they have had great success! One friend was diagnosed with a cancer that was so rare that only 14 people in the world have ever had it…he went on a Hilu protocol, traveled to Spain for treatment and has been cancer-free for a year-and-a-half. For another, she was diagnosed with terminal cervical cancer in 2012 and given less than a year to live. She went to this clinic as part of her treatment and in 90 DAYS (!) was declared cancer free, and has been cancer free ever since! We know of others who have been cured of breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer and autoimmune diseases.
        The cost of the clinic is expensive with the addition of travel, lodging, meals and follow-up treatments. Treatment alone is 9000€ per week (or $10,500 USD), and Dr. Hilu has recommended a two-week treatment for Peter. The health insurance that Peter has will not cover the cost. We are in need of funds to support Peter's treatments in Spain and also help cover his loss of income while overseas. We depart for Spain in less than 3 weeks, and Peter’s treatment begins August 2nd.
        Thanks to a very generous donor who gifted us her frequent flyer miles, our airfare has already been covered and our plane tickets are already booked. At this time, we are still in need of a rental car and lodging. If you happen to have a discount rental car rewards program, or a timeshare in Marbella Spain, please let us know as this could also help offset costs!
