It’s been a relatively slow year for me, medically speaking. But July 8 finally got here and surgery to get a brand new right hip. In typical Peter style, what was originally scheduled as outpatient surgery later calendared as an inpatient and, following the actual surgery, an additional four days was required in the hospital, causing all sorts of concern with my blood and other things going on.
They then transferred me to a care facility for rehab. There I’ll be workigon some basic skills and then hopefully soon sent home to rest.
july and recuperate. Surely the bills will be full of surprises, none good (this is, after all, health care in America), and it’s what’s not covered that's quite expensive and other costs are bound to mount. So rather than wait and have the shock of bills coming in send me back to the hospital, I’m trying to stay ahead of the creditors and looking to my friends, etc.
to help keep me afloat in the near future.

discharged this morning and sent home. Feelsgood to be home, see my cat, etc. then tonight’s Doug & Kate brought by Marne Thai for dinner. Short lived respite, as pain alays present and continued swelling left leg, and foot . Mainly around 10 o’clock it’s time for bed since nobody’s gonna turn out the lights and give me any medicine. First attempt was really frustration as pain right leg reached into the evening with tears. The sound of a pain and continues to frequent my shared space.

first piece of mail with medical bills, my co-pay for the preliminary hospital stay in four days within the hundreds of doctors and well soon I imagine being matched by something from the rehab facility where I was for I guess about two weeks. I know these times so hard for everybody and potentially disturbing in the world, but anyone in any and all who can see it till you would donate a little bit to the fund would be most appreciated as I imagine the mail will include more and more bills in the coming days. I am deeply hoping to stay ahead of them as best I can. So thanks to all who are written and special things to see fit to donate in the past or in the coming days your health is deeply appreciated and most welcome.
