Peters Family House Fire Help

On December 6th, our family's house caught fire and was pretty much completely destroyed. As of right now, my family is either staying in hotels or with friends.

Outside of the house, everything inside was pretty much destroyed. We've lost every photo, video, or VCR we've ever had, our old baseball stuff, furniture, family recipes/cookbooks, any important ID and tax documentation, etc. While all that is materialistic, we unfortunately also lost our cat, Lynx, which is impossible to replace.

We are in need of basic necessities such as toiletries, clothes, food, and water. Most of the materialistic things we're hoping to cover with insurance, but everybody knows how long that'll take. We can't give a definitive list of things outside of basic necessities because we have no idea what's going to happen next or what our living situations will be, so your contributions will help us so we can get what we need, when we need it.

As you may know, anything you give will be greatly appreciated, and honestly, the goal I set is just an arbitrary number to get the ball rolling. We are not a family that usually asks for anything and are more likely to help others than ourselves, so the fact I'm making this should show how desperate we are.
