Peter's emergency medical expenses

Monday morning our good friend Peter was injured in a hit and run accident on 580. The other driver hit his car pushing him into the gaurd rail and causing his vehicle to flip repeatedly wih him inside. He was able to pull himself out of the vehicle but due to extensive injuries including a broken hip, foot and tibia he blacked out in the road until paramedics found him about an hour later. Peter is home now  but has a long recovery ahead of him. Due to the nature of his injuries he is fairly imobile and unable to work. Peter is a former marine but due to an error in the VA system they will not cover his medical expenses at this time. He is fighting them but for the moment he is uninsured and facing some pretty heavy medical bills including ambulance, hospital costs, and rehabilitation. Peter is a wonderful  human being and  well known in the San Francisco arts and burner scenes. He never hesitates to help when needed and has put himself in more than a few compromising situations to ensure the safety and well being of those around him. Right now he could really use our help. Please consider lifting some of his financial burden so he can take the time he needs to heal. If you know Peter personally but cannot donate, he could also use a hot meal or two as food prep has become quite a challenge. Really any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You and much love!
