Peter's Celebration of Life

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the tragic news of the loss of Peter Saliwonczyk. His passing was sudden and a shock to all who love him.

Peter, a son, a brother, a cousin, an uncle and a friend. He was never afraid to tell you that he loved you. Peter was funny, quick-witted and always knew how to make a room laugh. He was definitely a jokester and loved to play pranks on all of us. 

One of the best qualities about Peter was his empathy. No matter what he was going through himself, he would sit and listen intently. He somehow could provide all the support you could need simply by being present.  

We cannot forget that Peter was a musician. Among the instruments he could play, Peter was amazing at the guitar. Peter would fill the house with music, playing his guitar day in and day out. 

My name is Megan Saliwonczyk and I am Peter's older sister. Our family is fairly small so growing up it was just him and I. He was my best friend and we could understand each other with just a look. I never imagined that I would be planning a funeral for my baby brother. I am creating this fundraiser to help cover the costs of the funeral expenses and other related costs. The money will also help to support my parents and my aunt and uncle. 

I understand this is a difficult time for all of us, and realize this is a huge ask of our family and friends. That being said any donation is extremely appreciated and will mean the world to our family.
