Peter's Cancer & Heart Surgery Fund

Hello, my name is Alek Camberis - I am writing this on behalf of my dad, Peter. Many of you know him as the friendly neighborhood FedEx guy, Marine Corps veteran, soccer coach (and that guy at the gym at 4 AM!) I am starting this GoFundMe to help support him financially as he has been recently diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer. During treatment, he discovered that he has a heart issue that requires open-heart surgery next month. Over the past year, I have witnessed my parents go through financial and emotional strain since his unexpected diagnosis. I'm hoping that starting this fund will help alleviate the cost of the constant medical bills, being out of work for months and allow him to focus on healing both physically and emotionally. Those who know Pete know him as a hard-working, kind, generous, and devoted husband and father.
