Peter was passionate about people and loved to hear their stories.  He was extremely proud of Australia's multiculturalism.  Peter always felt that he had won the "lottery" by being born in Australia and wanted to share this great country with people from all different backgrounds.

In is retirement, Peter had planned on volunteering his time to help refugees.  Sadly, his illness prevented him from ever getting to do this.

In memory of Peter "Obes" O'Brien, the O'Brien family is raising money for the Refugee Council of Australia.  It is his wish and ours that donations be given in lieu of flowers.
