***Update: My dad, Peter Martynovych died on July 30th, almost exactly 3 weeks after being diagnosed with liver cancer. Along with many loved ones, I was able to enjoy those last days with him, even his very last moments were spent surrounded by those he loved.
He will always be known as the person who helped literally everyone around him, always. Anyone who had ever met him has a story of the time he saved them. He was the best dad, husband, son, brother, uncle, friend, and overall person.
Unfortunately, like many, his affairs were not in order for something so tragic to happen so suddenly. My family is SO thankful for the donations thus far, but we still need help. So, as much as I don’t want to keep asking, the help is still very much needed and appreciated.
***On July 1st Peter Martynovych was diagnosed with liver cancer. Last week, we found out he has stage 4 liver cancer and it has metastasized into his lungs. He has been given three weeks time to get is affairs in order. The Martynovych family, extended family and friends are all devastated by this news. The financial burdens of medical bills, cost of living and getting his affairs in order has been difficult. To say the least, they are in need of some financial help. Since Peter is unable to provide for his family anymore, I know it’s important for us as a community to help this family in need at this tragic time. All of their family and friends have rallied around this last week to help as much as we can by having a yard sale. Unfortunately it is not enough. A lot of us never plan for tragedy. They are an amazing family and have really been there for others. If you could find it in your heart to donate to the Martynovych family so they can pay their bills the next few months, while preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. Anything helps, if you can’t afford anything, please forward and share with others. I can’t imagine having to go through this difficult time and grieving. The last thing I would want is to have to worry about financial issues and I hope we can make it a bit easier for Peter, Vicky, Ericka and Jeromy.
