Pedro Rodriguez-Cortez’s life was unfortunately cut short by a tragic hit in run at El Rodeo restaurant in Moreno Valley California on the morning of October 18th. He fought for his life in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit of RUHS Medical Center until he was declared officially dead on his 39th birthday, October 22nd, 2019.
Peter was a loving son, brother, uncle, godfather, cousin, friend and most importantly a great man. Peter was loved by all of those who had the honor of meeting him. He was an optimistic person who always put others before himself. This shined through by his choice to save lives working in a hospital. Although he didn't have any children, he cared for and treated all kids involved in his life as if they were his own.
Peter was an individual who always looked for an opportunity to make someone smile and would never let a difficult time get to him. He had an adventurous spirit and was a natural born explorer who always connected with those around him.
His family is asking for donations to help with his funeral expenses, anything will be appreciated. We’ll leave you with his final goodbyes spoken to his parents and sister, “Love you, Hugs and Kisses.”
