Dear friends and family, 

On behalf of the Farias Family, we are eternally grateful for everyone’s outpour of love and support given to my Big Boy, Peter!  We will fight this together; With God everything is possible. ❤️

As a mother, I am having to share with you the most unbearable news any parent could ever face.  My son,  Pedro "Petey" Farias, who will always be my Big Boy,  has started his 25th birthday with the biggest challenge of his life.  He has recently been diagnosed with cancer known as Lymphoma.  This has been the darkest time of our lives, not knowing what to do or where to go next, but thanks to my son's primary doctor, who worked diligently to move mountains, guided us towards the right path.  From the initial doctor's visit three weeks ago to the present, we have been overwhelmed with a vast variety of exams, results and not to say "emotions."  Our biggest nightmare has just begun, we have not really been able to grasp the burden of the medical expenses that are quickly mounting.  We have been blessed with an overwhelming response from many loved ones who know my son and our family to offer their love and support to assist him in overcoming his upcoming battles.  We believe there is power in unity, prayer and love.  We also believe everything in life has a purpose and we must trust the process that comes with that purpose.  We have faith in  God  and  strongly believe that  my Big Boy will overcome this battle.  God be with us always.
