Peter Wells Funeral Fund

Peter Wells was, amongst many other things, a loving husband to Jayne Wells; proprietor of the Peterborough and Stamford Markets record stall for several years and then owner of The House on the Borderland comic / record shop of Lincoln Road; former warden of the Eye Green Nature Reserve and respected member of the community on the whole. Though sadly, Peter recently passed away.

Peter was suffering with terminal cancer (to which he was diagnosed at the start of the year) but faced the illness with a with a strong will, bravery and perseverance till the end. It may be of some solace to know he departed us in peace, within the comfort of his own home.

Peter's influence spreads wide, musically and personally and he will always be remembered as a warm, kind, inspiring and captivating individual who will never be replicated.

Unfortunately as well as leaving a huge hole in the lives and hearts of many people, his passing, and hardships leading up to, has left Jayne with little money to cover Peter's funeral. We hope to give him a farewell that such a special person is deserving of by helping Jayne out with the effort, so it is with this that we ask for a contribution, no matter how small. Jayne and the late, great Peter would be very grateful for any donation. Thank you.
