This is Peter. Many know him as "Perfect Peter" or "Petey Pie". He was born with a rare genetic mutation that caused his brain to not fully develop. He was not expected to live long after birth but he is now 4.5 year and continues to blow us all away with his determination and is changing the world with his infectious smile.

Peter is currently non-verbal and is not yet walking. However, we have no doubt he will get there with the right therapies. Through countless hours of research, we have found many amazing programs throughout the US, both for physical therapy AND speech therapy...and maybe even FEEDING therapy (he is currently tube fed). Unfortunately, the travel expenses for our family make these therapy trips near impossible. Separating him from his siblings and both parents for days and weeks at a time is hard on all of us so we try to travel together when possible.

We know so many people absolutely adore Peter and want more than anything to see him walking and talking. This fundraiser will help make those milestones possible!
