Peter Serdichenko Funeral & Family Support Fund

The world lost a great man way too early. For anyone who ever met Peter Serdichenko, you immediately sensed his care, love, energy and an uncompromising faith in God. He was an amazing pastor, husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He had an uncanny ability to sense when someone was struggling and come alongside them with just the right perspective and encouragement in the faith. The stories of how many people he helped are in the hundred of thousands. Everywhere he went he brought the Gospel of Jesus Christ with high energy and tremendous love. The love of Jesus shined through him when anyone approached him, called him in the middle of the night for help and prayer, or simply dined with him in an ordinary day.
Peter Serdichenko’s devotion to Christ led him to start dozens of ministries and churches throughout the world. He unceasingly traveled the former USSR to spread the gospel of good news of salvation for many years. He opened hundreds of churches in Ukraine, Russia and even in the United States. In 1998 he started a large scale ministry in Ukraine to serve the underprivileged people on a weekly basis, providing food, clothing and support. In 2006 he started a city-wide county fair for the orphans, providing light, supplies and joy to the most neglected. He organized a veterans rehabilitation service. In 2014 he received the Ukranian President’s award for his service to the country. He was willing to give his life for the gospel in any way, shape or form: whether being imprisoned for sharing his faith, giving his last dollar to help the needy, or spending a sleepless night alongside a sickbed.
We want to set up a fund to help his wife, Tatiana cover expenses associated with the funeral and to make sure his wife can handle this loss financially. We will never be quite the same without having him in our lives anymore, but we also know that his memory lives on in the lives of the millions of people he was able to help.
