No mistakes--only discoveries?

I’ve lived a big life, full of adventures. And along the way I’ve made many mistakes. My 4th grade art teacher told me, “There are no mistakes, only discoveries,” but I think my more mature self feels like what there are in the world are choices that create tradeoffs. My choices have led to tradeoffs.

The current reality and opportunity!

My choices have led me to this point—a place where I’ve needed to start over enough times where I have very little savings, a portfolio of high growth experiences, and one more truly unique opportunity in front of me. I’ve applied and been accepted to a world-class leadership development course.

The Flow Genome Project only accepts candidates who are leading communities that are playing some part in forging a future that works for all of us. In my work as a leadership coach my personal mission is to empower myself and others to communicate assertively, take 100% responsibility for what we are co-creating, and lead by example. Not only have I been able to do this work in my chosen field of Montessori educational leadership, but I’ve also been fortunate to counsel leaders in medicine, real estate, fitness, and the U.S. Navy.

I will Give to Receive

Over the last 5 years of leadership and life coaching I’ve gifted a lot of folks sessions in times of need; sometimes out of a desire to continue to practice my skills, and other times as a favor for a friend or simply because I was moved to help. If I’ve ever gifted you a session I’d love to ask for a token of your support for this opportunity. If you’re moved to donate and you haven’t ever gotten a leadership or life coaching session from me, I will follow up with every single one of you that donates to offer you a session on any issue where you’re currently stuck and hoping for a breakthrough as an expression of my gratitude to you.

The Numbers and my Ask

The tuition for this 8-week leadership development program that begins with a week-long expedition circumnavigating 3 linked canyons in the southwest US, involving wilderness survival, military-style order, orienteering, consensus leadership and deepening self-awareness is $7500. My own skin in the game is $2500. And I will also cover my flight to and from the location.
