Help artist Peter Passuntino avoid homelessness
Donation protected
Meet Peter Passuntino, a prolific and award winning painter, originally from Chicago who has been painting in New York for decades.
Peter has fallen on hard times and is currently staying in a hotel and is facing eviction. Without help, by the end of the week he will be on the street in the middle of winter.
He needs help to find a permanent place to live so that he can get on his feet and organize a show to display art work and make a more steady stream of income.
Peter has over 600 works of art that he is ready to display - and he's still creating! There is a documentary film being made about him - he hopes will help create opportunities to show his work.
In June of 2020, Peter lost his son Greg. Greg was the most generous and giving person and would always be there for his friends when they were in a time of need. Peter needs those same friends now.
Please consider helping with anything you can. A little goes a long way. No one should be faced with this situation, and it will take friends helping friends in the time of need to avoid it for Peter.
Another way to help Peter is to help him show his work! He has a breadth of work that he is ready to showcase so any help with spaces in New York is also greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
