Peter Opinski Family Fund

On Sunday February 19th our lives changed forever, Peter passed away at home. He was a loving life partner of 28 years with Christine, a father to Shane, brother, uncle, great uncle and son.

Peter had many days of not feeling well and on November 11th he was admitted to the hospital. He was diagnosed with legionnares disease, sepsis, ARDS, and hypoxia and put in a medically induced coma. After weeks of ICU and rehab he was so happy to come home on December 13th and be able to celebrate the holidays with the family. He still had many more side effects and also now had blood clots. He was slowly beginning to feel better but there was still many obstacles he had to try to overcome. On February 19th Peter asked Christine and their son Shane to please go to the grocery store and get him things for work in the morning. When they arrived home he had sadly passed away.

We are devastated and looking to ease some of the financial burden on the family during this difficult time. We will miss him so much but find some comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain
