Big DOings -
We have been the beneficiary of some non-Sigma Pi's who collectively have added $1,775 to bring the total number of donations to 60! Please ask your friends to consider a donation.
The Dave Furr Challenge helped us raise an additional $1,500 to bring his total to $2,500!
The Bill Morgan Challenge brought in $3,425 with his $1,000 included.
If you haven't donated yet, would you please consider joining the Honor Roll?
We will likely need to guarantee a full year's rent to a landlord to get Peter settled into an apartment which is why we have raised the goal. He has his TURP Prostate Surgery scheduled for July 14th, but the doctors will not operate unless he has a permanent home (Not a Hotel) to recover in.
When I first started this effort on June 21, I had no idea how successful we could be, nor how much more money I originally thought that we would need to raise. Thus, We need to raise a total of at least $19,500 to finish the job! $5,650 to go!
Update: Hoo-Ray! We have surpassed the $8,500 Goal with a Huge Touchdown in Coordination with Bill Morgan's Challenge in Memory of Stu McGuire. Stu was Bill's Big Brother and advocated for him to become a brother in our Chapter. This appeal for Peter Nagle struck a chord with Bill as it has with 44 Current Donors and 49 Donors overall. Who will be our 50th for the Point After Touchdown?
Now for the Extra Point! The NFL moved the goalposts slightly back in lengthening their PAT, and I am cautiously doing the same thing to a Revised Goal of $10,325. Kindly let me clarify why we are asking for more.
Peter has filled out an application for an apartment in West Hollywood which is on the bus lines to UCLA and Cedar Sinai Medical Centers. We have our fingers crossed that it will become a lease by this Saturday. Given Peter's homeless state, he has no bed, pillows, linens, towels, or any glasses, plates or silverware. An inexpensive microwave would help as well. He will also need paper towels and toilet paper on top of some cleaning supplies. If we were to raise this additional $1,675 Gross/Estimated $1,600 Net, we could finish the job.
We have had many brothers step up, some of them multiple times. We are deeply Grateful!
With Thanks & Yours in Brotherhood -

Initial Post:
This is Jim Keever, and we are fundraising to help a WFU Sigma Pi 1983 brother and classmate find stable housing in the Los Angeles area as he is recovering from multiple hospitalizations. We need to get $8,500 together to get Peter Nagle a place to live to avoid homelessness. These funds will cover a Security Deposit, 1st and 2nd month's rent before Social Security Disability Insurance can kick in to cover the full monthly rent. He also has food and transportation to doctor expenses to cover as well. Can you kindly help Peter? The funds will go to a trustee who will pay the rent directly. Yours in Brotherhood! JWK
