We are devastated and heartbroken to announce the unexpected and untimely passing of Peter on May 18th, 2025.
Peter passed in his sleep, aboard his beloved boat on the water he loved so much and with his partner Michele by his side.
Peter, Pete or Petey depending on how you knew him, was so many things to so many people; a son, a brother, a friend, a loving companion to Michele, but, above all, Peter was a devoted and loving single father to Jacob and Matt; they were his entire world and his proudest accomplishment. Everything he did was for his boys.
Peter worked very very hard everyday with Jacob Tree Services, hanging around in some very precarious situations most would not attempt. Not Peter, the higher the tree the more he liked the challenge.
If you were fortunate enough to be a part of Peter's life, you know that he was loving, kind honest to a fault.
A friend that one could depend on to lean on in times of need or help with anything.
His sarcastic and crazy sense of humour was indeed his trademark. The one time you might see a serious post from him you'd think his phone had been stolen or his Social media hacked.
But if you were close enough, you knew that under that sarcasm was a heart of gold.
He was a great confidant to many, always offering an ear and advice if you needed.
He was a great lover of the outdoors, especially the water and fishing. His purchase of a fixer upper boat a few years ago has kept him very busy during his off time and given him a place to relax and reflect on life in a calm space when he was not hanging out of trees somewhere.
His infectious smile and positive energy and enthusiasm were contagious and will be missed by so many that had the fortune to know him.
In an effort to ease the burden on the family for many sudden unexpected expenses, I am setting up this fund.
Sadly, there was no Life Insurance Policy.
I am hoping that all that knew and loved him might be able to contribute whatever possible to see that expenses are covered for the immediate needs.
Thank you all in advance to everyone that has offered support to the family in any way during this incredibly difficult time.
