Dad had a fascination with space and would have loved nothing more than to visit there himself. Whilst that was never going to be possible for him, he would often say that when he died, he wanted his body shot into space. Whilst we can't quite manage to send his body on an interstellar journey on a rocket, we can send his ashes into space via https://www.ashesinspace.co.uk/memorial-flight His ashes will go up into near space and be released, to orbit the earth for several months.

It would mean the world to us to be able to fulfil his wish and to be able to gaze up at the stars and think of him finally up there as he wished. However, fulfilling his wish does not come cheap which is why we are asking some of his close friends and family to help us out.
