Peter Kobzar Funeral

On January 19th, 2023, at the age of 61, Peter Kobzar passed away in a car accident. He was a devoted God-loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. Early in the morning, on his way home from work, only 20 minutes away, another vehicle crossed the centerline and both collided. He died instantly.

Peter Kobzar was born on September 17th, 1961 in Bahmut, Ukraine, to the family of a local church pastor Ivan Kobzar and Maria Kobzar. He had five sisters and five brothers. From childhood, his parents instilled in him a love for God and the church. The family was large, and they all worked hard. The boy grew up obedient and hardworking.

In 1997, the Kobzar family immigrated to the United States. They lived in Spokane, Washington for about a year and then moved to Wenatchee and joined the local church. Peter left Ukraine, but his heart remained there. All his thoughts and desires were focused on how to help Ukraine. In 2015, First Slavic Baptist Church entrusted him to serve in the department of "Help for Ukraine" In 2017, Peter was ordained as a deacon in that church. Everything Peter did for the church or for people, he did from the heart, as for the Lord. He was principled with himself and demanded the same from others. He taught children and young members of the church, not allowing them to do God's work carelessly.

Peter was a loving husband and a caring father in the family. He helped his wife, taught his children, instilled in them a love for God and people, encouraged them to testify about salvation and expand the limits of the Kingdom of Heaven. He lived by faith in God and was a source of inspiration for many.

No one was prepared for such a turn in life... Peter has gone to be with his Lord, leaving behind his wife Tatyana, two sons: Yaroslav and Mark, and daughter-in-law along with his beloved granddaughters, relatives, and many friends. Everyone will remember Peter for a long time, his meetings, phone conversations, his teachings and advice that he shared with heartfelt kindness and love.

His wife is not ready for the loss of her husband and sole provider. At this time, only Peter was working; Tatyana is temporarily unable to work. Help from the insurance company will not come soon. We ask that you support the Kobzar family in your prayers.

19 января 2023 года, на 62-ом году жизни погиб в автомобильной катастрофе любящий Бога и заботливый муж, отец и дедушка Петр Иванович Кобзарь. Ранним утром он возвращался домой после ночной смены. Недалеко от дома, когда уже оставалось минут 20, произошло столкновение с автомобилем, который вынесло на встречную полосу, по которой ехал Петр. Он погиб мгновенно.

Петр Кобзарь родился 17 сентября 1961 года в Бахмуте, Украина, в семье пастора поместной церкви Ивана Михайловича и Марии Артемовны Кобзарь. У него было 5 сестер и 5 братьев. С детства родители прививали мальчику любовь к Богу и церкви. Семья была большой, работали много. Мальчик рос послушным и трудолюбивым.

В 1997 году, семья Кобзарь иммигрировала в Соединенные Штаты. Около года жили в Спокене, штат Вашингтон, потом переехали в Винатчи и присоединились к поместной церкви. Петр уехал с Украины, но сердце его осталось там. Все его мысли и желания были «как помочь Украине». В 2015 году, церковь «Вефиль» поручила брату Петру служение отдела «Помощь Донбассу». В 2017 году, Петра рукоположили на диаконское служение в поместной церкви. Все, что делал Петр для церкви или для людей, он делал от души, как для Господа. В этом, он был принципиален к себе и требовал от других. Наставлял детей и молодых членов церкви, не позволял делать дело Божье небрежно.

Петр был любящим мужем и заботливым отцом в семье. Помогал жене, никогда не делил работу на мужскую и женскую. Наставлял детей, прививал им любовь к Богу, людям, побуждал свидетельствовать о спасении и расширять пределы Царства Небесного. Он жил верой в Бога и был источником вдохновения для многих.

Никто не готовился к такому повороту жизни... Петр Кобзарь ушел к своему Господу, оставив после себя жену Татьяну, двух сыновей: Ярослав и Марк, невестку с милыми внучками, родные и много друзей. Все будут долго помнить Петра, встречи, разговоры по телефону, его наставления и советы, которыми он делился с сердечной добротой и любовью.

Жена не готова к потере мужа и кормильца. В данное время только Петр работал; Татьяна временно не трудоспособна. Помощь от страховой компании придет не скоро. Просим вас поддержать семью Кобзарь в ваших молитвах.
