Peter Kachenko Family Medical Fund
Donation protected
Many of you know and love Peter "Pete" Kachenko, a loyal father, husband, son, brother, friend and member of our community. On February 12th, after several medical tests, Pete learned from his doctor that he had an "egg" sized tumor growing on one of his adrenal glands and that it had spread to his Kidney. As a healthy young man, who got regular annual check ups, this news came as a complete shock. Pete, his wife Traci and two children Iris (13) Manni (7) are ready to fight this disease in every way possible.
The Kachenko's are fortunate to have some healthcare coverage, however they will incur large amounts of medical debt while both Pete and Traci are away from work managing Pete's recovery. His journey began on Monday, March 1st, when a team of surgeons successfully removed the tumor, adrenal gland and kidney. The surgery was nearly 7 hours long and very complicated, which included the removal and replacement of the vein that allows blood from the lower half of his body to return to the heart. Pete will spend at least the next 3 months in
recovery and treatment and will need costly testing and scans for the next 5 years.
I am reaching out to seek your prayers for his healing and any monetary donations you may wish to give to help Pete and his family during this
difficult time. All funds will go directly to Pete’s family to help with medical costs and any future needs he and his family may encounter while he undergoes treatment. Peter has always been the “giver” in helping others and now we have the opportunity reciprocate his generosity. He has blessed many of us with his friendship and contagious smile; I have not yet met a better person than Pete. I know they family will appreciate your support and ask that you help us share this GoFundMe campaign on your social media so that we can reach the many people who want to help Pete.
