On July 1st, 2020, the world lost a beautiful soul in Peter Gonzalez. Peter was full of life and left lasting memories with everyone he came across. He was an accomplished wrestler, and had a passion for art, sports, cooking, and cliff jumping. For those who knew Peter, he always gave an infectious smile, witty jokes, great music recommendations, and a feeling of friendship. 

In honor of his life and creative pursuits, his family has started the Peter Gonzalez Memorial Fund, which will be used to support nonprofits helping individuals with mental health conditions. Donations will also go towards the funding of a mural project that will highlight Peter's artwork in downtown Bakersfield for generations to see.
