Peter go train and learn the Barca Way!

Hello,
I am Peter Jr. and my oldest son, Peter III (P3) LOVES soccer. This year we planned to visit Texas and my son was bummed he would miss soccer practice, a hometown soccer tournament, and feared he’d lose skills and learning opportunities. So Aunt Joy in Texas searched for events where P3 might train, play, or practice there. She found a soccer camp he might enjoy and signed him up, unaware of the huge opportunity she set in place. This camp was THE FCB Barcelona 2023 Camp, which would have scouts and selects exemplary individuals to the invite-only FCB Barcelona Academy in Spain.
With the chance for an invitation to focus on training, learning, and growing in Spain in mind, P3 woke an hour before me daily during vacation and spent every spare second practicing, dribbling, kicking, and training training TRAINING. He strategized on how to assist and direct his team in winning their daily friendly competitions. In a Texas heatwave, this Alaskan guy played his heart out from 8 am to 2 pm in triple digits. I witnessed this young man, my son, flourish and grow in the Barca values of Humility, Effort, Ambition, Respect, and Teamwork, known as HEART, every day at camp. I watched him work to encourage, motivate, and push himself and his teammates every game. They were rewarded with winning their finals competition last day of camp. I couldn’t be more proud of all the growth my son accomplished so quickly.
On wrapping up camp, and heading home to his team, P3 was happy to be back but extremely disappointed that camp was over. On our first Tuesday back, the day after our arrival, we received the email we had been cautiously hoping for, the opportunity of a lifetime! An invite to the train at the FCB Barcelona Academy in Spain! I’m so excited, proud, and eager for the unexpected opportunity but it is not without challenges. I must say with humility and difficulty that I need help making this happen for my P3; it's more than I can absorb financially. I’m very unaccustomed to asking for help, but for my son, I humbly ask you to help me facilitate this dream come true for my P3.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you for taking the time to read this.

Thank you so much for all the love and support! The trip was a huge success! A lot has happened since then, he is still flourishing, growing, and persisting in his craft. Since then, his club has won multiple tournaments and will play regionals in May. His experience has given him greater perspective, understanding, and drive. Thank you again, so very much!!!
