Hi, this is Teresa and I am making a go fund me for my brother, Peter. In February he was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. It has been a shock to our whole family. He is only 33 years old. Luckily he has been in very good hands in Arizona with top specialists and oncologists. He started immunotherapy in March which the oncologist is confident will cure him, along with surgery and continuous monitoring.

He has a long year ahead of him though. With seeing specialists, the labs, scans, surgeries and immunotherapy the bills keep piling up. He has good insurance which luckily is covering most of it (immunotherapy alone is $650,000!) but is already nearing $10,000 out of pocket. Peter just started a new job within the past year and he is already needing to take time off. Eric is going to school right now to get his masters in behavioral health. They just are not set to take on this financial burden right now.

My family and I are not ones to ask for financial help but being the older sister I want to help in any way I can. I thought starting a fundraiser for him could help alleviate some of the stress he is going through right now by helping to pay off some of his medical bills.
