Peter Fenton's I THINK WE'RE LOST staged reading in NYC!

Donation protected
Hi there! I'm independent writer and producer of film and theater Peter Fenton and I'm returning to Rogue Theater Festival this year organizing a staged reading of my dark comedy play, I THINK WE'RE LOST. For the first time, I will be serving as the Director on the project as well. The staged reading will be going up on Friday, June 7, 2024 at The Flea in New York City—my first appearance in an Off-Off-Broadway venue as playwright and my first-ever professional theatrical project as director!

I THINK WE’RE LOST is an aged-up dark comedy/drama remix on the Peter Pan story. The Lost Boys are a rowdy frat house, Tinker Bell is a conniving mob boss, and Wendy was the ever-giving girlfriend who never asked to be “Mother”. When a college-aged Peter Pan considering leaving Neverland, Tinker Bell pulls out all the stops to make him stay, sending the newest Lost Boy and “Wendy 2.0” behind his back on a mission to kill Captain Hook before the pirate finds Peter again. Along the way, the newcomers discover unsettling mysteries lurking in Neverland’s past.

This reading of I THINK WE’RE LOST stars:
Jonathan P. Chen as PETER PAN
Monah Yancy as TINKER BELL
Avery Kellington as high-ranking pirate MAGGIE WRATTEN
Katie Padilla as both WENDY DARLING and WENDY 2.0
Chad Sell as both JAMES HOOK and the NEWEST LOST BOY
Michael DeLosAngeles as both first mate SMEE and a LOST BOY

I'm organizing this GoFundMe because while this opportunity will be an excellent line item in my resume and be continued momentum for my emerging career as a writer and producer (and look great on my actors' resumes, as well), I stand to receive no financial profit from putting this show on. All of the funds to pay, feed, and transport the actors are coming from my own pocket and the ticket revenue will be going to the festival—the festival has simply provided me the stage and the opportunity to be seen. The support of every single person who believes in my work to support me in this way means the world to me. I love getting the opportunity to have my work seen and in one of the biggest entertainment markets like New York City, the possibilities of where we could go after this are endless.

A full breakdown of the $2,500 is available upon request. I would love the opportunity to have your support through organizing this event! Every dollar helps.
