Our family had an unexpected tragedy on December 27th. Peter Condo loving father and husband, had a sudden disorienting swelling in his brain while driving that resulted in an accident. He is now in the St. Joseph Intensive Care Unit in a medically Induced Coma.
He has been battling high blood pressure and high blood sugar, Which contributed to swelling in his brain. He has neurological difficulty and was unable to communicate. We are not sure when he is awake if his memory will have any short or long term affects or how well he will be able to communicate with us.
We are not sure what we will be facing once he is back home and we don't have the means to afford in home health care. Also not having any medical insurance to cover the hospital bills. And not having the income that he would be normally making is going to be financially difficult.
As we're not sure what the cost will be for the time in the hospital or for any therapy or for any after care, most of the funds will be utilized for that purpose. A smaller portion would be needed to help cover some of the bills Peter's paycheck took care of.
