Peter Cancer phase 4 in the colon Metastatic liver

At the beginning of 2017 Peter Mata was diagnosed with cancer. It was found that he had cancer phase 4 in the colon and a metastatic liver. The doctors thought he only had one month left to live. But because of his strength, his faith and the support of his family his condition has been improving.
He needs an immediate operation to remove a catheter because of the obstruction of the aorta artery, which is interrupting his chemotherapy treatment.
Peter Mata has been on constant chemotherapy treatment with brief lapses of rest in between.
He resides in Venezuela, a country that is confronting a humanitarian crisis in with buying the medicine is nearly imposible. His oldest daughter travels once a moth to Colombia in where she can buy the medicine for high prices, also, his 3 other sons find ways to send medicine from Chile, Mexico and others.
After 3 years of sacrifice in were the family has sold its holiday house, a car and others its has become difficult to provide for the high costs of the treatment.
Peter Mata is the fundamental pillar of the family, he is a loving grandfather, father and husband. He is an example for the community, he hasn’t stop smiling or working and and his spirit it’s brighter than ever.
Peter has 2 sons and 2 daughters, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grand daughter. He has been married for 46 years with the mother of his 4 children. The family is divided in 5 countries, the 2 of his daughters and his wife are still in Venezuela and they take care of him.
We need help to maintain this fighter with us, we ask for help because it has become difficult to provide for the treatment, and operation planned for this year. Each day with him it’s a gift for us, and everybody who knows him. Thank you for reading.
