Peter Bob

Just this week we grieve the passing of Peter Bob, son of Sam Bob and his mother Cary Bugge, sisters Tamara Lycette, Naomi Bob and Samantha Bob, leaves a daughter Ariona and a baby grandson Sammy, as well as his loving grandfather Jimmy Bob. He had so so much to look forward to, he was seeking help for personal problems and planned to carry forward in a highly skilled 19-year career in ironwork with his union, Local 97. He was recently working on the new St Paul's hospital downtown. He also recently flew out to visit his daughter and grandson Sammy for Christmas in Saskatoon.

Now the family is calling out to family and friends for support with the funeral costs.

The average cost of a funeral in British Columbia is between $1,000 to $12,000. We are asking for $11,000 to help with:

-$2,000 for 2 hours at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel for the burial service

-$75 death certificate and registration

-Transferring the body $500

- Ferry to the Island $250

-Casket $5,000

-Preparing the body $500

-Burial plot $1,000 and marker $500

-Cultural work 1,200

Total: $11,025

Any remaining funds will go towards unexpected costs that come up such as printing photos, as well as food and time off work for the family to grieve. The money will be directly transferred to Sam Bob to pay for the costs of burial.
