Peter is a loving member of our family and community, he has no problem making those around him smile. He is courageously battling cancer for the 3rd time. He has been a beacon of strength and resilience through everything. Peter is a loving husband , devoted father to four wonderful children, and a proud grandfather to seven beautiful grandchildren with one more on the way. Unfortunately cancer has once again entered his life, striking his throat for a second time. As if facing cancer twice wasn't daunting enough, Peter now finds himself embarking on his third battle against this relentless disease. The past couple of months have been an uphill battle for my dad. He suffered a stroke in November 2023 the day before Christmas to only later find out that his cancer came back. Currently, he is undergoing rigorous treatment—a daily regimen of radiation coupled with weekly chemotherapy sessions, spanning over seven grueling weeks. This journey is not just physically and emotionally taxing; it's also taking a significant toll on Pete’s financial well-being. With the mounting medical expenses, transportation costs to and from treatments all the way in Harlem, and the loss of income due to his inability to work during this trying time, the financial strain is overwhelming.

Additionally, your thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement serve as powerful reminders of the love and solidarity that surround him throughout this time. Through all of the hardship and emotional stress, my dad has the ability to always find the light and strength. Thank you for all the support given to my dad and my family during this time. He will come out stronger and continue to make people laugh. My dad is and always will be my motivation and my strength to keep going.
