On December 16th, 2016 (9 days before christmas) my brother Peter Barajas suffered a massive heart attack at the funeral for our other brother. He did not have the proper supply of oxygen and blood to his brain for 30 minutes. He currently is at UC Davis Medical Center he is on life support and undergoing treatment to determine what if anything can be done to save his life. 

Peter Barajas does have two young children that rely on him.  Alex is 19 a student at UC Davis and Tiana 17 who lives with Peter at their family home. 


**UPDATE**
With heavy heart we wanted to inform you that this morning we were informed by my brothers physicians that they have come to the clinical conclusion that he is now brain dead. This was caused due to inadequate supply of oxygen and blood flow to his brain he received from the time he suffered his heart attack.

They will try to hold him in his current state and make him as comfortable as possible. He does have a standing request to not be resuscitated and also that he would not want to be maintained by artificial means.

This does mean we have a limited amount of time. The window of time is growing smaller for us to make the necessary arrangements.

If anyone would like to come see him please feel free to visit him at UC Davis Medical Center in tower 2 on the 2nd floor SICU. We would most definitely encourage this as his time with us is precious.

Now that the unfotunate has happened the funds will be used for the following:

* Final medical cost's
* Funeral Cost's
* Remaining funds will be given to his children evenly to      assist them to secure a future.
