Forced arbitration is an alternative system of 'justice' that denies over 60 million Americans access to their civil rights.  The process circumvents public courts by requiring any employee that has a case of discrimination or harassment at their company to go through a private arbitration firm - and the firm is hired / paid by the company itself.

When Glenda faced racial discrimination at Cigna Health Insurance, her case was forced to go through arbitration.  She faced a number of injustices in the process (as described in the video).  She and Peter were both terminated from their jobs and they are now looking for work to support their three children.

Those who undergo arbitration often can’t speak out due to gag rules or their job hunt (and having your name in the media as someone who sued a former employer doesn’t help).
