Those of you that knew my father probably know he liked to keep things simple. He believed in hard work. Doing the right thing. Second Chances. He turned his life around, and hoped to inspire others to do the same. Unfortunately his time was cut short. My father was diagnosed with very late stage cancer and liver failure. He was in the hospital for just under a week, and passed early Tuesday morning with me and a wonderful team of nurses by his side. Unfortunately because every thing happened so quickly I was unable to pull out money from his bank account for funeral costs. Frankly, It wasn't something I even considered. We were preparing for the worst, but still looking for forms of treatment, and hoping for the best.
I am going to pay for his services using credit cards. I am just looking for some assistance controlling my future incoming debts. Anything will help. Any and all contributions big or small are greatly appreciated. If you are not in the financial position to donate, i totally understand. Please come and instead share with me a story about my father. That is more valuable than any donation I could ever receive.
I would also like to use this as a place to ask for any photos any of you may have of my father or his truck. They would be greatly appreciated. You can email them to: [email redacted].
You can also bring them to the service if that is easier for you.
His service will be at the O'Connell Rothwell Funeral Home in Southampton New York at 30 Little Plains Road, Monday 09/23/19.
Visiting times will be from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
