My name is Jennifer and I'm friends with Peter Moroz and I am also his neighbor. I, along with Pete's siblings John, Mike and Susan, are creating this Go Fund Me to help Pete with his medical costs and lost wages in connection with a violent assault on Pete that occurred last Friday, Sept. 9th. Pete sustained many injuries after being stabbed multiple times during this assault on his life. Pete underwent multiple surgeries for a collapsed lung, damaged liver, severe damage to his left arm, as well as an orbital fracture behind his left eye--for which he may never fully regain his eyesight. Pete's hospital stay extended for five days at Regions Hospital. This is where I met most of Pete's family, including his siblings, mother, and daughter. I quickly learned where Pete got his sensitivity, kindness and sense of humor after meeting his incredible family. Pete is now resting at his sister's while he heals from his wounds. During this time, Pete is unable to work and will have many medical costs associated with this violent attack. Pete's family and myself would like to do more.
