Pete Holowka Memorial Bench Fundraiser

Hello everyone, my name is Jeff, or Jiffy to many of you. As many of you know, one of our beloved co-founders of the Birdsong Ultimate Frisbee League passed away this year. Pete has been such an incredible part of my life and many others that we want to erect a memorial park bench in his honor. I have been working with the Town of Orchard Park and they currently have a project, in partnership with Allison Major of the Girl Scouts of America, to build a butterfly garden adjacent to our fields at Birdsong. We would like to join this project and have a lovely garden surrounding the bench for people to enjoy, and I am asking for donations to begin work on this.

Our current goal is to raise $3,000 to complete this. The budget breaks down as follows:

The Bench : 1,305.65
Concrete to be mounted and installed on: ~$1,800
The Memorial Plaque: $188.50
Total: 3,294.15

Any and all additional proceeds will go directly into this project and be dispersed to Allison to add to the garden.
