On March 28th, 2023, our good friend Pete Hoffmeyer was diagnosed with throat cancer. He is a single dad to Adam. Pete works in the school system as a paraprofessional and is a volunteer football coach for Portland High’s JV football team. Pete is a kind and caring individual who goes out of his way to help others.

As you can imagine, a cancer diagnosis can be devastating, both emotionally and financially. Pete will start treatment on May 15th, doing both chemotherapy and radiation which will continue until July 3rd. Pete will be unable to work during this difficult time. Friends of Pete are setting up this page to help with his financial burden from medical bills and other expenses while he fights this disease.
