We are a group of neighbors raising money to honor the memory of our very dear friend Pete Helseth, who died in May 2022 after a long battle with leukemia. Pete was a founding member and Chair of the Clear Creek County Open Space Commission for many years and is responsible for preserving beautiful vistas and building trails on countless properties within the county. On top of that, he was a teacher of sustainability and a truly wonderful person. Money raised will go to purchase a bench made of recycled materials to be placed on one of his favorite trails, signage and a ceremony in his honor. Help us honor his memory. Clear Creek County would not be the same without Pete's work! And we would not be the same without his friendship!
