Hi, this go fund me is to raise funds for my dads medical expenses, & medical transportation costs. My dad has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. My parents have been plagued with one financial burden after the next recently. They recently had plumbing issues & their flooring was caving in costing over $10,000 out of pocket, their furnace, & A/C went out which was over $3,000 just for a Temp fix, their water heater went out & had to be brought up to code for their mobile home costing them $2,050, they were hit by a non insured hit & run driver costing them much out of pocket for a $1,300 down payment & a much higher car payment & car insurance, their space rent has increased by almost $200 a month, their utilities are sky rocketing, they have went through all savings & now owe high amounts in debt. Their hospital co-pays are $500, ambulance $275, Dr copays $35, tons of prescription copays, over $200 a week for gasoline during his chemo days for transportation to & from out of town medical facilities 5X a week, etc. all while being on a fixed income. I do not want my dad to feel financially stressed & give up his fight worrying about the financial burden on my mom & my younger sister whom is still living at home and has had to take a unpaid leave of absence to transport and care for them.
