Pete Duff Memorial Fund

Pete Duff,

An amazing father to three children: Adrian (6), Julia (4), James (11 weeks); and a loving husband to Ester Duff. Pete passed away on May 17th, 2023. No words can explain the loss his family and friends have felt and will need to endure moving forward. This GoFundMe page was established to help raise the funds necessary to put his children through university and support his family through these difficult times.

Pete loved and supported his Country, and his accomplishments while in the military speak for themselves. Pete's military career spanned twenty years. Beginning as an infantry reservist with The Essex and Kent Scottish, Pete decided he wanted more. After completing the Close Protection Course, Pete provided close security for dignitaries in areas that protect Canadian interests at home and abroad.

This was still not enough.

Pete, always striving for the best, applied to the Canadian Special Forces Command (CANSOFCOM), where he spent eleven years serving his Country as an elite Special Forces Operator and Assaulter. He deployed countless times and had to leave his family, missing countless moments, all to serve the Country we live in.

A true warrior.

Although Pete has an extensive, deep, and respected career, his military accomplishments pale compared to his personal life. He was a real friend, always thoughtful with his words, taking the time to think before he spoke. The world lost an amazing human and positive entity that this globe needs more of.

Please take the time to reflect on the life of someone who put Canada first. A man gone far too soon.
