Update from Sarah

“Hello everyone,

We wanted to share a positive update. Peter is now off the ECMO machine and is continuing to make good progress in his recovery. We’re hopeful that if things keep moving in the right direction, he’ll be able to return to Belleville soon.

We also want to say thank you to everyone who has donated and supported our family. Your generosity and kindness are greatly appreciated, and we feel very lucky to have so many people thinking of us during this time.

Hello,

You may have heard that Pete is currently in the ICU in Toronto being treated for a serious case of Legionella pneumonia. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him with several weeks to months in hospital.

We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received, it is completely unexpected but our family extremely appreciative.

Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out, and kept us in your thoughts and prayers. Your generosity and kindness truly mean the world to our family.
