My dearest friends, Pete and Jaime Churchward have been faced with a health nightmare. The dreaded C word. Pete has been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the pancreas that spread to the liver. The cancer is to advanced for surgery. They have started chemotherapy. Pete just had a follow up PET scan and the cancer has spread to lymph nodes and right ribs. Pete worked as security at the airport. He hopes to return to work but currently needs help to make ends meet. Jaime works in nursing but will need to schedule work around Pete's treatments.
