Hi! We are Sam and Sarah, and we are setting up this GoFundMe to help our dear friend Pete, who recently lost his dad, Ray.

Ray took care of the household finances and assured Pete and his mum, Ann, that everything was taken care of financially should something happen to him. Sadly, it has come to light that this is not the case. Pete and Ann have been left with considerable debts, including the remainder of the mortgage, on top of the essentials we all deserve to be able to live.

For those who may not know, Pete is unable to work due to an autoimmune disease which almost took his life and leaves him weak and easily fatigued. He cares for his mom, Ann, who has fibromyalgia amongst many other health issues.

Not having this huge financial burden looming over them would be life changing, not to mention not having to sell their house and rent / pack / clean / move house, which would really take a financial, physical and emotional toll on them both.

So, please, if you can donate any amount at all, it would be greatly appreciated. Pete is such a kind soul, and we know how thankful and grateful he will be for any amount of help that can keep Pete and Ann in their home with less financial pressure and stress.
