Petal Paradise Pollinator Sanctuary

We are raising funds to buy land to create a floral eco-sanctuary for our pollinators - bees, hummingbirds and butterflies. A vast wildflower habitat, complete with native and nectar rich flora, will be established to provide feeding, breeding and shelter grounds for these magnificent animals.
The aim then is to create a flower festival around this magical wildflower wonderland for humans to also enjoy, and learn about the critical role of pollinators in our world. The festival is an outlet through which to celebrate the natural world, de-stress and enrich the mind, while also teaching new skills with workshops.
Activities and engagements:
- Workshops (gardening, beekeeping, yoga, crafting, wellness etc.)
- Seminars on pollinator life, their role in food security and soil health
- Living floral sculpture competition
- Lawn games for adults & children
- Cut your own bouquet
- Maze - sunflower/corn
- Sensory interaction: aroma, textures, color
- Connection with nature
- Raising pollinator awareness and care
The funds will be used to buy:
- Land to create the sanctuary (~10 acres)
- Water infrastructure for flower farming
- Seeds, bulbs & plants which will offer safe resources for our flying friends
