Pet Friendly Shelter in YYC - Parachutes for Pets

The cold snap in January had us extremely busy helping getting the homeless and their pets into warm places together to survive. Thankfully, we had many individuals open their homes and assist us as no shelters in Calgary except pets.
This needs to change. We want to start small and are working with a group to rent some space that they will allow us to house these individuals in emergencies as well as allowing domestic violence victims to have an opportunity to take their pets with them.
We work with limited resources right now to help but we need a better solution.
Calgary - can you help us achieve our goal? We need to raise approximately $30,000 to sustain this program per year. If anyone would like to help us fundraise, donate, or sponsor this initiative please contact us.
In January we housed over 50 people with their Pets temporarily that had nowhere to go otherwise. ❤❤
