Director's note from Mateo Berman-Sample:

" The country is in a state of panic and disarray. This is known. As an immigrant to this country from Guatemala, in recent months it has broken my heart to watch families get torn to pieces, children lose their parents, and kidnappings happen in broad daylight. I wanted to explore the fear that I and so many other people like me feel during this time in American History. For many families, there is no happy ending, and that is a story that needs to be told. This is something people need to see to understand. I hope that by sharing this story, we can make our voices even louder, and rise up against hate."
