I would like to quickly clarify who the beneficiary is before I start my story , (Cathy peteers ) She helped us, by documenting our campaign because Gofumdme's account is not available to create in Palestine, but she lives in Belgium, so she helped us .

Hello, I am Samer, and my brother Majd from the Al-Wadia family. We live in Gaza. We are five brothers and one sister, and we used to live in a beautiful and quiet house in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood. I, Samer, am 20 years old and study law at Al-Azhar University. I aspired to become a lawyer in the future, but unfortunately, I couldn't complete my studies and had to stop in my second year due to the war and the bombing of my university. I work as a volunteer during the war, engaging children in recreational and psychological relief sessions to help alleviate the stress of war. There is a video on my Instagram page documenting these activities with photos. As for my brother Majd, he is 25 years old and has completed his Bachelor's degree in Political Science. He is now seeking to pursue his Master's degree in European universities and was an active member of the student council at the university. We also used to have a large store where we sold cleaning products, which was a source of income for us. We also had a car. Of course, all of this was before the war started.Since the war began in the Gaza Strip, our home was completely destroyed in a bombing, and this is its picture in ruins...
Also, our car was destroyed; it was crushed by army tanks, Unfortunately, I don't have a picture to document that.
Also, the store was destroyed, and all the merchandise inside was damaged. We suffered a great loss beyond measure. This is a picture of it after all the products inside were stolen...
All our dreams and lives have ended suddenly, without any wrongdoing on our part. We are left without a home or shelter, and we don't even have any money. The army launched a ground operation in Gaza without warning. During our displacement and escape from the bombing, our family was split into two halves: one went to the south of Gaza, and the other stayed in the north. Here in the south, we set up a tent in Rafah on the seashore, and I can't hide from you how harsh life is in tents. We lived through an entire winter with rain pouring down on us and suffering from the bitter cold. We also didn't have enough clothes or bedding. We lived in Rafah for more than six months, and after the army entered Rafah, we moved to the Nuseirat camp.Let me tell you about some of my family members who have health problems:My eldest brother, Khaled, is 30 years old and has special needs; he is deaf and mute and requires special care because he cannot go out alone or work. In these difficult circumstances, he needs high expenses. As for my mother, who is 50 years old, she suffers from back problems and has a slipped disc that affects her legs, causing her severe pain and muscle spasms. She needs constant treatment, physical therapy, and vitamins to strengthen her bones. My second brother, who is 25 years old, was injured by shrapnel from a nearby bombing. The shrapnel remains in his body, and he needs surgery to remove it. However, due to the lack of any available facilities at the only functioning hospital in Gaza, the surgery has been indefinitely postponed, and he always uses painkillers. As for me, Samer, I am 20 years old and have a problem with breathing and sinusitis. I choke because of the smoke from fires and the gunpowder from missiles. I use medications and a nasal spray, but this issue requires a clean environment and fresh air to be resolved, unfortunately. These are some pictures of the medications.
Also, this tent we live in is made of plastic, some blankets, and wood.
Despite all these health problems we suffer from and the harsh conditions we live in, the worn-out tent made of wood, some blankets, and plastic is no longer suitable for living in. We now need money to buy a new one. Also, the occupation threatens the area with evacuation at any moment, and the army could attack us. Furthermore, all our food is cooked on a fire, and we have to buy wood every day. We also have to buy drinking water and regular water (every 20 liters costs 3 shekels, which is about $1).Meanwhile, the other half of my family lives in the northern part of Gaza, where they suffer from hunger and have not found food for the past seven months.Unfortunately, this is the life and the harsh conditions we are living in, and there is no wrongdoing on our part to deserve all this. Aren't we humans like everyone else, needing to live a dignified life, free from fear, terror, poverty, and hunger? Shouldn't we be able to complete our education and live in peace? I hope you can help us live a normal life like other people, so we can leave Gaza, build a new life, and continue our studies .
We still alive ..
