Perry Family Memorial/Medical Fund
Donation protected
On Thursday night Dec 1st my niece Rebecca L Perry and her daughter (my great niece) Gretchen Perry were in a tragic and horrific automobile accident. Rebecca (38) sadly died from her injuries and Gretchen (15) holds on to dear life with multiple contusions, injuries and most concerning an upper spinal chord injury. The purpose of the fund is to offset the unforseen expense of funeral and memorial service for Becky and the unpredictable cost of medical expense and recovery for Gretchen. (She is going pull through, and then the real rehab and therapy begins)
My nephew, Justin Perry, the husband and father of this beautiful young family is a proud, hard working and humble man who just lost the love of his life and holds on to hope that his child will live. This concern burdens him. Our family wants to alleviate this burden so he can stay focused with clarity on each step of the burial/memorial process and Gretchens recovery process. Collectively we hope to offset missed wages through dealing with the huge responsibility ahead.
-As a family, we are overwhelmed with great shock and sadness. Heartbreak and tears will set in a for a time and our smiles and laughter will fade. Then there is a moment fueled with great reflection, positivity, love and support that smiles and laughter will soon return, and from that so many of our happy, cherished memories will endure within all of us for a lifetime to come.
