Perranwell Football Club Funding
Donation protected
Perranwell Football Club is an amateur club based in West Cornwall. The club is well established, joining the Cornwall Combination League in 1974. This season we were founder members of the newly formed Cornwall St Pirans League. Over the past 40 years Perranwell FC have arguably been one of the most successful and consistent village clubs in Cornwall.
The club currently operates two mens teams and a youth team. We are a volunteer run club with a strong committee filled with people who are passionate about the club. Since the clubs inception it has been well run and self sufficient. Match day income provides much of the clubs ability to finance itself. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic the club has been financially hit. The finances generated from match days have been lost. As with every summer, improvements, repairs etc will be needed for the upcoming season. This is proving difficult due to the financial implications caused by Covid-19. The club is a focal point for many within the community. For example, organisations such as the Royal British Legion share our facility. We often hold memorial matches and contribute to a number of fundraisers all of which makes us a well loved and appreciated part of the Perranwell community. It has never been more apparent the importance of a strong community and the need for such a place for people to come together.
We are asking for donations to contribute the the general upkeep of the club as well as any necessary improvements to the benefit of the club as well as the wider perranwell community.
Perranwell AFC would like to thank you in advance for your donations.
