Help me remain in Canada
Donation protected
My name is Ricardo Pérez and I am a 24 year old Venezuelan living in Canada since 2016. With the help of my parents, I was able to flee to Canada and enroll in Musichtennic, to get my degree in audio engineering.
The hardest thing of moving out of my home has been being away from my parents whose effort to keep me positive and going I cannot appreciate enough. They are one of the reasons I need to remain in Canada legally, to perhaps, one day soon reunite them.
The social, political and economic situation in my country are the primary reasons for not wanting to return to Venezuela and other personal reasons that dim my wishes.
I want to remain in this great country of Canada and to achieve this I need to apply for a humanitarian and compassionate status to later become a permanent resident.
In order to continue, I need to apply with a lawyer who will assist and defend me during the final court decision of my PR case, the funds will be used to pay the attorney fees as well as the submission fee of the requested status in which rounds up to a total of 5100$CA .
Between paying for rent, groceries, services and restricted income, I have not been able to save to at least pay the initial fees, I can barely keep afloat. It’s not easy to ask for help when you are trying to make it on your own, but I guess not everyone can make it alone.
This is the reason I created this GoFundMe campaign seeking the help of anyone that is willing to aid me in completing the attorney fees to legally remain in Canada.
Kind regards!
